The North East region is one of the fastest growing regions in Victoria. The region is renowned for its world-class wines and gourmet food, spectacular scenery, cultural heritage and numerous national parks. The region includes Benalla, Wangaratta, Wodonga, Bright, Rutherglen, Falls Creek and Mt Hotham ski resorts.
The North East has a reputation for its pure country hospitality, hosting an active calendar of festivals and events such as the Wangaratta Jazz Festival and the Man from Snowy River Festival.
