Sporting Facilities and Activities in Victorias Goldfields
Sporting clubs, golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, film societies and service clubs are just a few of the activities open to residents in Victoria's Goldfields region. The area also has many unique national parks and forests providing opportunities for bush walking, rock climbing and fishing.
A youth council representing the region’s young people advises Ballarat’s leaders on youth issues, and several skate parks and BMX tracks have been built. An annual drug and alcohol free music event also attracts young people from across the region.
