An annual programme of touring artists caters to all musical tastes from jazz to country, classical and rock. The Melbourne Symphony also visits the region annually.
Horsham Regional Art Gallery has an impressive collection of Australian colonial and contemporary art, and a number of galleries are scattered throughout the region.
The region hosts a range of festivals and events throughout the year including the Awakenings Festival, Art Is., the Harrow Sound and Light Show, Buloke Family Fun Day, Baby Boomer's Festival, Mallee Rally, Charlton Film Festival, rodeos and agricultural shows.
