The quality of life is definitely better. With the open spaces, the outdoor living and the extra time together as a family we spend much more time doing things we enjoy.

The cost of living is cheaper, and so is real estate. We bought a great house with a pool, we still had money left over for a new car and now we can afford more holidays.

We live really close to the river, which makes doing the things we love, like fishing and canoeing, much easier. The kids have fitted in well at school, and Alisha and I have a busy social life. It’s probably because, for the first time in our lives, we actually know our neighbours.
